    I only feel tension like that every couple of years I'm a film. What a ride. If you really squint you might find a slightly disjointed aspect of pacing here or there, but the magic of movies is in their emotional resonance and visual character, and Summit of the Gods takes those elements and masterfully delivers such a raw, tense, profound story that just had me hooked from the get go.

    I feel like this is 4 different movies, all with wildly different tones, that were sort of cobbled together: a small town rom-com, a zany creature feature, a horror movie and a series of MTV shorts.
