THUMP-THUMP… THUMP-Thump… Thump-Thump… Thump-thump… thump-thump… thump… dead. Dead from too much love in my heart for everything that is happening on this screen.

Pluck out my eyes, slap them on the floor and drench them in 37 gallons of water.

I will be watching this until the day I die, waiting to find that someone to feel gratitude when saying goodbye like the Cooper’s.

    Better than The Godfather.
Better than The Godfather Part II.
    Better than GoodFellas.
    Better than Heat.
    Better than Scarface.

    It's that fucking good.
Nearest you can get to perfection.
    Action done right. In fashion.
    In the most absurd magnitude.
    In bloody India.

On rewatch I realise that this might be the most subtly fucked up movie about love ever put to screen. It lulls you to sleep with its narrative, it’s depiction of New York, Cybill Shepherd and soundtrack. DeNiro is my GOAT actor and this dude doesn't fucking miss. I'm too tired to be happy I watched this. I'll save the excitement for morning.

Steven Spielberg did something special here by portraying human emotion and the expression to do something with it. Family and passion do not overlap and tear us apart. But sacrifices are to be made and it’ll all be worth it, though leaving you empty inside by the end of it.

I could hear Spielberg talking from the screen and I was laughing, crying and in awe of this film. The music and the old 8mm clips were beautiful.

    This solidified…
