On rewatch I realise that this might be the most subtly fucked up movie about love ever put to screen. Steven Spielberg did something special here by portraying human emotion and the expression to do something with it. Family and passion do not overlap and tear us apart. But sacrifices are to be made and it’ll all be worth it, though leaving you empty inside by the end of it.
