Just phenomenal! While not perfect/masterpiece level, I really have so little to critique here, and feel I should rate it proportionally to just how much I purely enjoyed it in the theater.

Man, just really not my thing! Pretty horrified to learn that this is the top-rated Bond movie ever on Letterboxd, because this just really didn’t do a whole lot for me, unfortunately. Between absolutely senseless plot points, the apparent lack of a single likable character, action sequences and dialogue sequences that made you wish you were seeing the other, and misguided editing throughout, this film was a bit of a slog.

Just as brilliant, entertaining, and affecting as the first go-round, but a nice revisit now that this is a multi-Oscar and Best Picture winner. Especially tried to focus on Baker’s editing and direction, since these were wins that I feel stood out from the historical archetype of past winners. Baker definitely does so many little things throughout this that, though not always flashy, remind you that he knows how to make a damn good movie. Special appreciation this time around for Borisov’s performance. Lots of gems to catch on a rewatch!
