Mickey 17 wasn't the wild and crazy party the trailer would have us believe. It moved more slowly but it wasn't uninteresting. A good science fiction story and all the actors were great.

Hundreds of Beavers 2022
I purposely avoided this based on clips I saw when it was coming out. Although I loved the indie vibe and attitude behind the look, the actual gags themselves looked like retreads of those you might see in a Roadrunner cartoon. But I kept hearing good things from people whose opinions I respected, so I had to see for myself. The damned thing won me over maybe ten minutes in. A far cleverer movie than I had believed.

King Solomon's Mines 1985
Haven't seen this since it's release but my friends and I felt it was stunningly terrible. The theater experience was great for some laughs that still come up to this day. I do recall feeling bad for Richard Chamberlain. As he was the king of the small screen, I was really hoping for a great feature film for the guy. I guess he did all right anyway.
