With the: camera work, disturbing-as-fuck phone calls, gruesome kills & heavy subject matter surrounding our final girl, this almost gives Halloween a run for its money. All it's really lacking is an iconic soundtrack & a bit tighter 2nd act.
At times I was more horrified by the boyfriend than the killer in the attic & making us wonder if they are one in the same is all the more interesting. This is easily in my top 5 slashers now.
Solid comedy film from its time. Every scene with Jillian Bell is gold. Also, I wish Olivia Munn was in a bit more. I'm an old G4 fan & while she isn't the best actor, I think she fills these roles in comedies perfectly.
Jenifer Anniston replying "she" when God is brought into a conversation made me choke with laughter on my Christmas sugar cookie.
