  Loved that they tried something different with this one. The DGG series obviously was supposed to end with the first one, so Kills and Ends were a product of the first one's success. I'm glad they didn't just continue the same path from the first two. Lots of homages to other horror greats, and Stephen King. I really dug this one.

  Every rewatch confirms it belongs in the pantheon of great Christmas-themed movies. If this doesn't nail the wrecking depression the holiday season can bring to only be defeated by the magical Christmas spirit. Not to mention it's a great neo-noir. Cusack always brings it, but everyone here is solid. The runtime really makes me wanna bump it to a 4.5/5.
