    Despicable Me 4

When I first saw the trailer for Despicable Me 4 I was so excited. This excitement was all due to how incredibly good the first two films are, I couldn't wait to see it. After seeing the film I am (still) shocked at my reaction...I HATED IT!

    Allow me to elaborate...

First of all there are far too many plot lines that aren't developed enough or spent too much time on. For example the fact the Gru and his family…

    ★★

Furiousa reminded me of the MAD TV sketch where a overgrown child named Stewart would utter his carchphrase..."Look what I can do!" Especially since the fury road was unabashedly spectacular.

Sometimes the techniques are seamless camera tricks taking two separate images and putting them together to create one shot, to simple yet effective techniques like…

This is one of my favorite Disney animated films and what really makes it shine are the voice performances. There's a "looseness" to the performances which seem antithetical to what Disney had done prior to this film. The playful approach that the actors had to the characters and material (especially Peter Ustinov as King John) gives this adaptation of a well worn tale a relatable rag tag feeling which was Disney's bread and butter in the 1970s. Also the "steal…
