(American) Populism bad.. Politicians bad.. Bugs good?
Got what Ruffalo was going for, but felt a bit o.t.t.
RPatz was actually pretty good though!
    Bechdel test utterly failed.
I wanted more of Toni Collette ugly crying.

Refreshingly succinct. Every moment felt necessary and important.
Excellently tense, the fast paced reactionary nature of the setting worked well when juxtaposed with the slower, almost frozen, emotional moments.
Some very pithy and thought provoking lines.
"Perhaps they didn't want to remind people of the last time the German authorities had guns"

    Utter horseshit.
The film projects an air of arrogance and self aggrandisement, as if it is presenting the viewer with something profound, while ultimately saying nothing.
Peppered with sad sex and toilet based attempts at humour, all I wanted was for her to just stay dead.
I saw it for free and still feel I deserve my money back.
One star because pink is a pretty colour.

A movie about men in dresses trying to decide who should be the most important man in a dress.
Stunning visuals, lots of long static shots, with a beautiful use of stillness.
Stanley Tucci was underused which should be a crime. In fact most of the actors could have done with being given more meat to their roles.
Isabella Rossellini was sublime, though only having a few lines of script, her face said multitudes. Her curtsey in that one scene was such a "chef's kiss* moment.
A great *gasp* worthy ending too!
