  The level of immersion this film provides is second to none at times (e.g., entering the Carpathian Mtns.). I'll watch this movie in five years and truly appreciate how much Eggers was cooking.

  Excellent re-packaging of the original two films with enough innovation/flair to appease most. Similar to Matt Reeves' The Batman. High Execution but the derivative elements can either be received warmly or lukewarmly. Conceptually it is nice that a younger generation can experience the "essential" thrills for the first time if they have not. I'll also provide a recent ranking I did of one of my favorite franchises that may help others understand what it is going for.

  I expected to hate this due to the assumption of tweeness and my general hate of the American capitalist machine. To pull this movie out of that pit is a feat that should be commended. The "I'm Just Ken" scene remains just as funny the tenth time as the first. Sublime.
