I’m a big Bong Joon-Ho fan, but Mickey 17 tries to do too much with too little time (which is funny because certain parts definitely drag). It either needed to focus in more on a couple of ideas or just be a full on mini series if they wanted to tackle everything. The satire is fun. The moral/philosophical questions are fun. The aliens are fun. The love triangle is “eh” but could’ve been fun. The main cast bring their A-game. But it just doesn’t mesh.
Do yourself a favor and watch Moon instead.
