Might be the biggest 3 star review of all time. Like I can’t give it lower because it was a pretty mental true story with some great shots of coastal Scotland and the North Sea.
But… it was just ok. How much can you do in terms of developing the story and the characters when the geezer is just at the bottom of the sea waiting for people to go get him? I wanted more depth (haha). The doc may be worth a go though.
Can’t fault it Friday evening very well spent. Ruffalo has hit his prime years and Pattinson is just good at being whoever you want him to be.
Feels very rewatchable I’m just invested in the whole concept and world that’s been imagined. I wish I could insert a gif of Pattinson’s creeper impression to finish but sadly I cannot.
Cineworld secret screening #13. This is what cinema club is all about; almost definitely wouldn’t have been interested any other given Monday. It was weird, and as my more critical film going friends pointed out there was one skeptical performance. But honestly I didn’t care. I got lost in that lovely blue suburban house for 90 minutes and I’m glad I showed up.
Good but not a fun watch. Guys showed some real chemistry and there was some funny moments, just not enough funny moments to outweigh the sad and depressing journey. Very awardy one; Sam will no doubt love it and Charl will no doubt hate it.
