  i keep coming back to this film even after a few days have passed since i watched it. i feel like it was equal parts effective and ineffective... i'm still wondering about parts of the plot, like what actually happened to her mother, or if that doesn't even matter because whatever that was she spoke to *wasn't* her mother.

  i think it sets itself up for a sequel nicely as well and i almost think i wouldn't mind watching it.

  love this stuff. definitely had some moments that were really eerie and hard to watch, and dodo was very lovable as a character.
