    Everything I didn't like about this picture felt like it was due to my own foibles and nothing against the art itself. Clearly a masterpiece, but the pacing just killed me. As a viewer, I was so primed for the end of the second act to be the end of the film that continuing for another hour felt like a slog.

    I can't remember the last time I saw a movie with such little confidence in itself, and with good reason. This was most evident during the relentless and unfunny gags constantly ADRed in. There were jokes, but Captain Hook could count on his coat hanger how many of them were funny enough to draw the disappointment on my face into a desperate smile.
