Enjoyable, way more satirical than I expected. Great performances from Pattinson and Ruffalo. Didn’t overly love the ending scenes but the humor scores a lot of points here.
I think I’d greatly benefit from a rewatch. I also watched this with a woman, suck it Trebek.
For sure worth the watch, bit of a long one but I stand by it.

Good entry into what’s been a hot and cold Marvel slate. I frankly don’t understand the flak this movie is catching. Enjoyable, some classic superhero moves and tropes that built this franchise. Anthony Mackie crushes it, Isaiah Bradley character is the heart and soul of this movie, and I don’t get the gripe of people saying this lacked “soul or purpose” ??

Bordering on an 8/10 for me… fantastic casting, although I feel Bernthal’s character was a bit of let down. Not that Pitt does a bad job, but Bernthal has the depth for that character too. Absolutely wild opening that sets the stage well. Makes me want more Shia. I think this Shia would have a blast revisiting the glorified labor camp his younger-self worked at, looking down the eye-piece and yelling, “AWAY!”

Expectations were very low and this was just below that. Even I annoy myself with the things that annoy me (?) but lip dubbing is becoming a major one. Also, how is Marshawn not the worst actor in this? Yes, yes, I could not do any better, but whew.
A few good laughs, but I have no need to rewatch this again.
It was serviceable to get me into the movie theater, and after watching five kids run around…
