First MCU movie I've seen in 10 years. Wasn't impressed!
This movie failed on pretty much every level to make Spider-Man cool, which is such a fundamental failure that I really don't know what else to say. I mean, there's a lot else to say, but who cares? Longest movie ever made, also! Pretty boring!
Michael Keaton was great, at least. Tom Holland was fine but I just really fucking hate the way Pete was written in this. Marisa Tomei the hottest woman to ever live.
Some of the densest doses of Movie Magic per square inch of film ever. So blatantly obvious why it's a classic. Timelessly brilliant in equally as many ways as it's aged poorly, which is a lot.
Sorry! Sorry to cancel this movie or whatever! 'Tis simply the way of things! Pulp isn't exactly a genre known for its sensitivity! This movie does not have a very high opinion of arabs, or women, or indigenous peoples, or basically anyone not named Harrison Ford!
P.S. Karen Allen in this movie is almost as much my dream woman as Margot Kidder in Superman
Yeah this is as good as everyone is saying it is. Unbelievably compelling. The entire last act had me gripping the arm rests in the theater so fucking hard. All leading up to the perfect payoff.
Go see this.

It's really not good. Like at all. None of these characters are even remotely likeable. Every performance is the worst possible performance. I cannot fathom how this got made.
