I had to settle into this one before I could start enjoying it. At first, the performances felt a little awkward, notably from Mrs. Brown, and with this being my first Paddington film I couldn't drop in and take the world for granted like seasoned Paddington veterans could. I wouldn't say I was a hater, but leading up to release I was not convinced on this one. I just didn't think it could justify its existence compared to the stage musical. But after seeing the response and seeing it myself, I am glad that Wicked doesn't just justify its existence. It does so while being a ton of fun.

Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande are a power couple and perfectly cast. The sets, costumes, and effects are great…
