An ugly, shallow, and bleak portrayal of a sex worker’s life and struggles. When you’re depicting sex work on film show it from an interesting pov, offer a fresh perspective, or give the main character personality, depth, and agency. Not interested in watching a woman suffer gratuitously when women suffer every day in the real world. This was so status quo and male gazey. As a woman I found it painful and upsetting.
