Good plot based on a true story. Performances were also good. Nothing extraordinary tho. I don’t feel my life has changed after watching it? I felt they could’ve clung to the dramatic climax for an extra beat. The monologue in the rain was a bit rushed in my opinion. Solid work tho

Villain origin story about Trump in his real estate mogul era. Knockout performance by jeremy strong (better than kiernan culkin in a real pain dare i say). Great Trump performance by Sebastian stan -- didn't overdo it, didn't feel like a caricature. I liked the techno vibe/grain. color grading got a bit odd towards the last quarter of the movie. sad this didn't get enough award recognition. I get this film is about a despicable man, but it's excellent as a stand-alone film.

Went into this film blind at Lincoln Square AMC. Did not know what to expect at all but was still blown away nevertheless. Very experimental film but for the most part they pulled it off. Wasn’t familiar with the history but I am now going to look more into it. Ending threw me for a loop. Color grading slapped. The camera angles slapped. Wish they expanded more on the ending tho. Love love loved their choice in filming from the characters pov. Excellent film
