  Movies are so fucking weird now. It’s not just me, right? They’re just weird. Look at movies. Look at what we’re working with. Even the good ones are inexplicable and evil. I saw so many movies last year where I was like “what have you done” with much graveness. I can’t explain my analysis further and I wouldn’t care to.

  So basically— it’s a fucking breath of fresh air to see a movie that’s just uncomplicatedly great on every level.…

  So transcendently barf-worthy that I am struggling to form words that feel strong enough. This isn’t about a desire for perfect trans rep—it’s a bad movie on its own merits, and I will GET to that. But I do think the trans aspect is badly handled in confounding ways so I'm just going to type my stream-of-consciousness and hope something compelling and cogent falls out of my brain, and maybe one day I will return to this to clean all this…
