I’ve been kinda down on da movies lately. But this was beautiful- sad, sweet, strange. Like an onion or some fucking thing. I don’t know.

You can tell that John Patrick Stanley is a playwright. Apparently Norman Jewison made the actors stay in that kitchen and run that scene until they got it right. I love a farce.
