This movie was one of my favorites when i was a teenager- it always felt disturbing but was much more thoughtfully paced than many horror movies i had seen, and something deep down resonated though I could not articulate it in my adolescence. Upon revisiting it as an adult, it takes on a much more sinister theme for me around consent, SA, and the way consequences of experiencing SA follows you indefinitely. I think this movie was done very sensitively…

One of those movies where you can tell stephen king did a lot cocaine. Overall very unnerving and upsetting- couldnt get through the rewatch cause i was so upset knowing about the incest aspet😭

Dancing with the Birds 2019
All time favorite comfort movie. I love birds so much and when i watch this i am almost overwhelmed with emotion. This film really illuminates the extensive skill and wisdom of birds- an often dismissed class of animals. I love the little bits of humor as well.
