10 Things I Hate About You 1999
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
One of the only films I consider to be a completely through and through feminist masterpiece. This gender bent adaptation of Shakespeares The Taming of the Shrew was definitely ahead of it’s time, and still better than most contemporary medias approach on gender. I say gender bent because It is clear to me that Patrick, our male love interest, is the titular shrew, and NOT Kat. Although the movie leads you to believe she is at first.
