Snow White is a great example for the main thing that bothers me about these live-action remakes: Neither do they have anything of value to add to the animated versions, nor can they reach their quality and charm. I wish people got as mad at the devaluation of animation implied in the apparent need for live-action remakes as they do at silly stuff like Rachel Zegler not having snow-white skin or criticising parts of the animated movie.
