The only thing that keeps me away from giving a full five stars is I wish we got more into Bob's mind. That is my favorite part of these biopics: being able to get absorbed into someone else's brain. However, this could be due to the fact that Bob Dylan did not have much of a troubled mind, at least not compared to Elvis or Amy Winehouse, for example. This has brought me into a bit of a Timothee Chalamet binge-watch, so that's great.

Great movie. Was not planning on seeing it at all because I had no interest in Barbie. I thought it was going to be purely comical but it was quite the opposite. It gave me a whole new perspective on everything my mom has done for me. The line where it says “mothers stand still so their daughters can look back and see how far they’ve come” was heart wrenching. I really enjoyed this movie and I now have a huge crush on Ryan gosling. I will be rewatching La La Land tonight.
