  The real miracle of this movie is that it made me feel awe and unbridled joy while watching a superhero origin story. Was sure I was over them, given how rote they have become. I never thought I would enjoy one the way I did in the Sam Raimi entries... and yet here we are. Reminded me of when I was a kid. Of when Spider-man was my favourite superhero. Reminded me of why he could be again.

  This is a weird one. I liked everything I saw, but it was so deliberately split into two halves that I was expecting a third part that never came. A third part to explain why we had just watched the two previous parts and why the writer director felt the need to tell the same story twice. As it is... it felt like they only had the one idea and couldn’t stretch it to a feature film.
