There’s a wild, intense scene involving shipping horses via airplane as well as a drunk driver versus horse chase that’s far more shocking than anything in the family classic that preceded this unshapely, but often engrossing sequel 34 years earlier.

Anthony Hopkins and Christopher Plummer can sell any line of dialogue. I’m sorry that Tatum O’Neal didn’t have an extensive career. She holds her own with some heavyweights.

Cinematographer Danny Cohen and Tom Hooper make some very beautiful, painterly compositions. Vikander's great.

This film recalls a dark time in our nation's history when motorcycle riding ninjas roamed the public parks and state universities of central Florida. Ninja-allied drug lords moved cocaine from Miami to Orlando, but a group of tough as nails orphans raised on a diet of hugs and Fire Inc. albums formed the rock band Dragon Sound and saved the world from total ninja domination.

Epic film about an important, but little remembered, part of our country's recent past.

Notable for being featured in The Perfect Strangers two parter where Cousin Larry and Balki get trapped in a cabin after an avalanche. Mark Linn Baker says "Ice Station Zebra!" with such incredulity when he discovers this is the only movie available to watch while awaiting his snow encased death. You'll have to track down the episode to find out if Cousin Larry lives.
