From what I've seen, del Toro is a master of blending together elements of reality and irreality into one cohesive world. He does it in Pan's Labyrinth and he does it again here. He does a pretty good job with this movie and it was just something I enjoyed watching. That being said, it's not as outstanding as some of his other movies and a little light on horror elements, but pretty good.
