  such a lukewarm film about one of the hottest events in recent history. it underplays brian's incredible impact, who's otherwise brilliantly played by this film's revelation, jacob fortune-lloyd. the beatles casting was okay in every other aspect but the physical. the height differences are comical. john lennon, who already suffered with many insecurities, would probably shoot himself looking at the size of who's playing him. especially compared to paul and george, who are uncharacteristically towering over him. hell, he was…

  So this was basically a poorly written movie about white colonizers stealing psychedelic cumin (or was it curcuma?) from "desert" people of color, with terrible dialogue and very mispronounced Arabic mythical words.
