In the best possible sense, it felt like an improv skit. Very not subtle approach which in a movie of this vibe I can respect. I can also respect the fact that I've never seen anything like this other than MAYBE Nausica, but that's a very superficial connection. I can understand why people who expected a more typical Bong Joon Ho movie don't like this but come on there's cute slug isopod guys
