  this is an adaptation that strips everything meaningful, memorable, humorous, and enjoyable out of its source material and tosses it away.

  i always struggle to review movies that i really, really love, but let it be enough for me to say that i really, really loved this movie. it has some of the best cinematography i have ever seen. watch immediately.
