I think it’s a great story but it perpetuates this idea that if you just work hard enough. I’m glad we hear stories of people who face temporary homelessness, but what about those who face chronic homelessness? Do their stories just not get told? Are they not worthy of humanity and compassion? Or are they just a statistic and an example that they point to of what will happen if you fail to work hard enough.
