About Time 2013
just rewatched + unexpectedly sobbed through the last third of the movie?!?! love is personified through each peculiar character. the post-ceremony wedding scene visually depicts glass-half-full vs glass-half-empty realities at play. the euphoria/determination blubbering out of the viewer at the end of the film is sure to leave one looking strikingly similar to let’s-go-fly-a kite-Mr. Banks, and quick to forgive some plot holes.

watching while feeling ill, i had no patience for fluffy plots or meaninglessness or cheap humor bc i’m feeling grumps/“what really matters?!” already.
due to character development that led to existential wonder (+ some hearty, laugh-out-loud moments), i had to press pause and savor multiple times. the costume design is purposefully messy on multiple characters (including some fly-down moments from our protagonist) yet absolutely precise with sentiment and coloring. a new, everlasting favorite that breeds compassion for one another as well as compassion for ourselves as we are convicted by the ultimate hypothetical: would you still love me if i….?Translated from by
