  Terrible movie and experience. Never again. Slow, convoluted, incredibly uninteresting, and contrived. The only thing I can give credit to is the costuming and perhaps the actors because they absolutely had nothing to work with and still showed up to work I suppose.

  Halloween with the New Addams Family 1977

  While it is very clearly a made for TV movie, I still enjoyed the heck out of it! I grew up on the 90s Addams Family movies which of course were derived from the og 60s sitcom which I haven't seen much of outside of isolated clips. The original cast is quite charming reprising their roles in the 1977 film. Not all of the jokes landed but they were very Addams Family jokes that I could appreciate.

  This was an amazing movie. They did such a good job balancing the hilarity with the sincerity, you’re laughing out loud in the theater one second then crying the next. 
  I really want to just go and watch it again I liked it so much. The pain, the joy, I loved the feelings it made me feel lol 

  I went in mostly blind to the plot and I think that’s the best way to watch it if you can. Go support this brilliant work!!
