What a comfort movie! The angst resonates with so many teens and middle schoolers that this is a must-watch coming-of-age movie.

As a big fan of SNL, I had high hopes for this film. The movie did a great job simulating the nerves and excitement of launching a show. I felt my heart rate raise when watching this movie, like the Bear. At the same time, the show felt very fabricated and I was hoping it to be more documentary-like.

Excellent message for youngsters about stepping out of your comfort zone. Also, the friendships forged with the other birds and bulldog are awesome. I love the variety of personalities and also the subplot of the owner and bird researcher. Bomb soundtrack and colors, too!

Before rewatching this masterpiece, I was tired of hearing all the Shrek jokes in pop culture and thought the movie was overhyped. After watching it again, I realized it has the appropriate amount of hype. Jokes for all age groups keep the humor fresh and high-quality. Not to mention the star-studded cast of voice actors, from Mike Meyers to Eddie Murphy to Cameron Diaz.
