Top Gun: Maverick 2022
There's something about Tom Cruise that makes an action movie plus a love story on the side, work and make it a blockbuster movie. Top Gun Maverick (sequel) have that. Reminds you of old hollywood movie storytelling with an adaptation of the modern world. I enjoyed every bit of the film. I haven't watched the first film, only seen clips but it felt like you didn't need to watch the first film to appreciate the sequel. Even as you see all the plot twists coming, Tom Cruise's charms and the spectacular aerial action still take your breath away.
