  This might be the most raw emotional viewing experience I have had. The writing in this show is fucking incredible and depicts so well the number of destructive and difficult ways insecurities manifest themselves in young lives. There are some absolutely gut wrenching moments in this show and a few very happy ones. But the whole time you’re kind of left with the uncomfortable, anxious, and emotional feeling throughout watching the show. These are weapons grade feels.

  Visually really solid. Enjoyed the almost cartoonish hyperbole of the personalities of everyone around Sam - be it his artistic mom, engineer dad, the catholic girl, the joc’s, etc. David Lynch’s appearance effectively not even acting, just being himself, is a hell of a cherry on top.
