  Contemplated the "Ferris is Cameron's Tyler Durden" theory this time. It's really good, but there's a couple moments that I think make it infeasible, mostly to do with Sloan and her relationship with Ferris. I could argue either for or against this in a bar, and I will probably do both at some point.

  I hoped this would put enough of a spin on the original that it would justify its existence, but it unfortunately did not. It adds nothing and actually takes a lot of the punch out of the first one. James McAvoy innocent tho.

  I love the idea of Christopher Nolan reading a 700 page biography of this pillar of scientific and political history and being like "its really important for the audience to understand that this guy was getting laid"

  Feels like this out-Finchers Fincher and out-Shyamalans Shyamalan. One of the most upsetting movies I've ever seen, the rerelease comes with a director special at the end, but I had to get out of the theater immediately, I felt like I had been hit with a hammer.
