Enjoyable popcorn flick.  Just enjoy, don’t overthink.

It wasn't good but it wasn't bad either. It was kind of campy, not trekkie and just should be on SciFi channel. I guess since I heard the warnings, I was prepared so not disappointed like most.

Enjoyable to watch after all of these years. I lived in Redondo Beach during that period and that is exactly how the beaches and the Strand looked! It has aged well and I miss movies this fun. I loved the Gretzky reference as LA was just getting into hockey thanks to him.

Started a bit slow, with title character not showing up for 20 minutes, but watching him bake the biscuits had me sending out texts arranging family Christmas cookie baking night invites. Great chemistry and I really wished they would have left a day early as I wanted to see them in SF opening a cafe/hotel.
