Amy Adams puts on a a great performance. The metaphor is not subtle. I liked that about it. Enough dancing around what happens to woman when they become mothers. Lots of silly lighthearted moments. Kept my attention and interest. A little gross. A little weird. Solid movie.
Trigger warning for my cat lovers. There is a scene where a cat is killed. Didn’t need to see that part. Boo.
