  “Minari, minari, wonderful, wonderful”

  I built this film up so much in my head I was honestly worried to watch it for fear of being disappointed. I cannot even express how relieved I am that it was better than I could ever have hoped.

  Not a fan of Branagh’s direction at all. The framing was really really ugly- I couldn’t get on board with any of it and found it really distracting. The performances were all fine but I didn’t feel particularly moved by anyone. It’s a shame that my favourite scene was Jamie Dornan singing Everlasting Love as it was the most emotive part of the film for me but felt strangely out of place.
