Whilst watching I absolutely loved this film, the minute by minute of it absolutely wowed me. However, once it had finished I felt slightly under whelmed. I felt that I wasn’t able to get into the mind of Arthur and therefore I wasn’t as invested and interested in him as I wanted to be.
I also feel extremely annoyed by everyone who is calling this film a ‘masterpiece’ and claiming that it shows how people with mental illness are treated…

An interesting watch that felt exceptionally real when watching. The film was beautiful to look at, with some of the most stunning locations. However, I found it hard to latch on to any of the characters as you didn’t get the chance to properly connect with any of them.
