Too much concert content and too slow of a build up for my tastes. Also didn’t love the mommy issues explanation for the killer’s behavior, especially cause they barely scratched the surface of that psychology.
Was hoping for more honestly…
At first I was curious how a film with big names like Christian Slater, Tim Allen, and Richard Dreyfuss could have fallen into such obscurity, but now I can understand why. While it offers just enough to stay entertained throughout, it’s not particularly memorable in any way. Well aside from the fact that it has one of the coolest opening credit sequences I’ve seen in a long time. Reminiscent of that from Catch Me if You Can (2002).
Went in with the lowest expectations and ended up un-ironically loving this. Despite all it’s technical flaws, this is still a mindlessly fun, endearing, Hallmark-esque movie. And TJ further proves that country boys>>>
