  I did not enjoy this... Shitty Shitty Bang Fuck is a forty-minute movie stretched out unnecessarily to hit two and a half hours for some God-forsaken reason. 

  Development was the main culprit. We've basically entered a world of really poor magical realism for absolutely no reason, because the movie pulls an "it was all a dream" twist at the end. This maddens me to no end.

  Damn… RIP Lynch AND Ford!

  People labelling this "hagiographic" clearly don't know what hagiography actually is as a genre of historical writing, just operating on the simulacrum of hagiography as it has come to be known. Were it purely biographical maybe... but the family drama of it all, missing the forest for the trees, just washes away poorly informed critique.
