I was in that cinema giggling every time Mickey proclaimed his unwavering love for and belief in Nasha. As a “disposable black girlfriend trope” survivor, I am entirely biased in my review idc.

Fun but very kiddy pool shallow with its exploration of personhood, unfortunately. Could’ve been a whole lot more interesting if they didn’t expose the twist in the trailer and instead let us sit with the pretence of her being human for a little while longer in the film. I’m genuinely still scratching my head because who the hell thought it would be a good idea to reveal that before people even stepped into the theatre? Very silly in my opinion.

Anyway… Quaid does the whole “nice guy who is secretly shitty” act so well. Too well, maybe.
