condescending and voyeuristic. politically inept. empathy misaligned. this is designed for people to gasp because they could never imagine being 'homeless' (which i put in quotes because i don't believe any of the real life subjects in the film would define themselves this way).
an actor and a director that appear at odds with the realities of their subjects. it feels irresponsible, it feels exploitative and it doesn't even consider the most interesting aspects/tensions of this lifestyle - opting instead…
