When We Were Kings 1996
I don’t know if I’ve seen a better put together documentary. It’s choices to focus on foreman ali, rather than either of their careers, and allowing the viewer to fill it in almost for themselves is a refreshing foil to the Jeter and MJ documentaries. This is up there with pumping iron is the best sports document ever seen in that it transcends sport to become an artistic look at the human spirit.
