  If I have one pet peeve in films, it’s boring biopics. So I always love when someone gets creative, like in Tesla, and mixes up the drab formula.

  This is kind of an odd film and I’m of two minds about a few issues after viewing it. Firstly, the film is extremely slow for about the first hour. Two Queens speak back and forth indirectly via royal envoy for a long time. Little else happens until a major event occurs about a third of the way through the film. I wish the beginning had better pacing. After that the film really speeds up and you become more invested…
