This is borderline an absurdist comedy with a similar premise to Final Destination and that worked for me. I laughed a lot and enjoyed the kills, the only thing that didn’t really work for me was when the movie attempted to go the more serious/ philosophical route with its ideas about what a family passes down to a newer generation. Fun time overall though.

Flow 2024
I really didn’t think there would be an animated film this year that topped Wild Robot for me from last year but I’m happy to be wrong. Flow is beautiful and refreshing in so many ways with how it tells its story. Some of the character models can look a bit stiff in some scenes but overall this animation is gorgeous. Impactful score and a journey I won’t be forgetting about anytime soon
