  As far as mind-benders go, this movie is a pretty average one. It's not a bad movie by any means, just not a great one.
  Mind-benders require something more than just the plot twist at the end. The performances, occasional fantastic shots, and terrifying body horror do something to set this movie apart but not in a way that meets the standard.

  The best kind of 'fun' film. High Fidelity communicates to its audience the complications that arise from dating and what it means to be a true man-child.
  It's not entirely vapid and it's references never come off as campy rather as important as they are to the people who make them.

  Likely the most real and authentic feeling movie about being a middle schooler. The atmosphere of the movie is filled with genuine writing feeling completely true to the feelings of a thirteen-year-old. Nothing feels pretentious or like an idea being sold to us. Everything is very natural.
  Very little plot in this movie, mainly just exploring the feeling of being not-quite with it, but wishing to be, but also not really wishing to be. A very sweet film all around and an exciting directorial debut from an amazing creator.

  The truest and best black comedy. World's Greatest Dad is a dark film and a very funny one.
  The film covers a lot of moral ground and the different relationships we have with others.
  Robin Williams is phenomenal in this underrated film.
